Weight - I have started the New York Diet with my gal pal.   We will see how long we stay on this one especially since there is no booze allowed.   Today was day one. (I know starting on a Tuesday).   178 lbs.   Yikes!!   I will keep you posted.
Money - Well the groceries for this diet were very expensive but hopefully I will save in not spending dough on booze, out to lunches and starbucks.
School - Going as well as expected.   Topic of the class is bias in the Media, imagine that!!   I was surprised to see many classmates liking old Fox News, Good News!

September 15th was my son's birthday.   This is my son that I and my ex-husband put up for adoption 19 years ago.   It always makes for a very reflective week.    Most of my girlfriends have had abortions and most of my girlfriends are filled with a lot of regret over the entire situation.   I have chosen the path of life I find that it is not regret, I have a lot of hope.  I hope that one day I will see my son again.   I hope that he will meet his sisters and brother.   I hope that he is one terrific human being!    It is nice to have hope and not regret.

Political Thought of the Day -   Listening to Air America and the Conservative talk show hopes it really seems as if the callers on the right are just more happy and positive.   I realize that is not earth shattering news, but if you listen it is very noticeable.   Someone should do a study.

Weight - I worked out today but drank an awful lot, empty but highly pleasurable calories.
Money -  What can I say I ate lunch out, went to the bar and went to Starbucks, very bad day.
School -  I did finish my assignments.   Of course I did these assignments drunk, perhaps they will be better.

Yesterday I didn't' get to blog because Sal and Iron Eagle IV came over for dinner.   They are great fun but I was a bit beat up because Pete & Jess were over as well so it added up to 4 lefties against me.   You can't really count T on my side, yes he votes per my request but doesn't really have many opinions.   It was really great fun to get into real debates.    They scored a few times, however considering that it was 4 vs 1, I definitely held my own.

Political Thought of Day.    Conservatives really are more happy and optimistic than Liberals or Progressives.   We all saw the movie "Little Miss Sunshine".   We all thought it was a brilliant film.   The lefties cried throughout the movie and were sad at the end.   I thought it was quite uplifting.    They really are a half empty class of people.

Weight - Will not get on a scale yet but I did have a good eating day!   Exercise was minimal.
Money - My frivolous spending was eating out today.   I love to eat breakfast and read the paper!
School -  I couldn't believe that in one of my discussion groups someone mentioned that they loved Aurora, Colorado.    I hate Aurora and honestly can't understand how anyone could love it, must have been a joke.   I am glad that I am not a professor, if I had that person in my class I could no longer respect any further input after showing affection for Aurora.

I only have 2 days left on vacation and all accomplished around the house is P'Dog's room, it is hard to believe that a 6 year old boy could be so disgusting.   He actually urinated in a sandwich bag and put in his drawer.    This alone proves the superiority of the female over the male.

Political Thought of Day;
I struggle with the European's constantly carping that American's are so arrogant.   Don't get me wrong I love the Brit's but in general the Euro's are nothing but smug.    Their blogs drip with condescension on how us Yank's are a bunch dumb boobs.   Yet we are arrogant.      Come on admit it Euro's - you think you are better, smarter and much more sophisticated.
